Majestic ... but a bit depressing

Fortunately for me, people don't seem to mind the odd skull in a picture, particularly when it's been drawn by a wonderful illustrator like W Heath Robinson.

This is from "The Song of the English", by Rudyard Kipling.

"On the sand-drift - on the veldt-side - in the fern-scrub we lay,

That our sons might follow after by the bones on the way."


As I say, a bit depressing.
