Aquatint from The Court Ladies Magazine, with original hand colouring. She was the first wife of Louis XIV. From a portrait by Schell.
Comes with a description of the dress - "pale green brocade" (mind you, the colourist has coloured it in dark blue!), "The bosom is shaded by a full tucker of Brussels lace"
Shows signs of wear, but the hand colouring is bright and clear.
