Do you like your vintage prints pristine?

You see, I love this picture - such style. But there's no getting away from it, it has damp splodges on it.

Apart from the occasional use of an eraser, I don't attempt any restoration on my prints (this may be partly due to a lack of ability, I must admit). Everything I sell has been around for at least 50 years, and sometimes up to 250 years, and I'm happy for it to show its age a little. This ad is from Plaisir de France - I don't have an exact date for it, but it's from the 1950s.

So, if you like your prints pristine, pass this one by. But I still like it, splodges and all.
